This website is just a simple demo. I cook for fun. When I decided to put together a sample website I thought I could share some of my favorite recipes in the process.

In the sit's first iteration I used every trick I could think of to display my technical prowess. The result sucked beacuse the style didn't suit the subject. All the bells and whistles only got in the way.

It didn't fit my philosophy either. I believe that websites should be elegant, as simple as possible consistant with their mission, and shouldn't use any technology simply because it's available.

I started over from scratch keeping those principles firmly in mind. I like this much better.
